and it can do very much more than to help in that difficult situation.
but the package is not really loved by a lot of fans... and it is difficult to find old informations concerning it.
a specially good use of it was a installations CD out the world of Arch linux opening 2 windows at start where at the left side the items of the strong full manual installation of Arch as required by Arch was written and in the right window field to register entries and do the installation were prepared.
- how to do that: open by start from ratpoison 2 windows, each with her color (and background)?
- ratpoison offers an item in it's menu (it needs 2 Debian packages to build it's menu: «9menu» and «menu»!!! Install they!!!), to commute to an other (probably your usual one) windows manager like (it was often) jwm, openbox or more better ones... but what is to do to register it?
