Hello,
I downloaded liveUSB for gnome Debian version 12.9 yesterday.
For testing I am first installing to a portable USB thumbdrive.
Automated configuration of target thumbdrive used.
Target drive has ESP partition on /boot/efi. A partition on /boot. A swap partition. And linux root partition.
LiveUSB boots on system. (But problems, no wifi, no sound, only software graphics rendition.)
Calamares installer stops at shell script bootloader-config
I tested the various commands I think this line is not succeeding: DEBIAN_FRONTEND= noninteractive chroot $CHROOT apt-get -y install grub-efi-amd64
The attempt to chroot to the USB target drive fails. The echo text saying installing grub-efi is not displayed...
How to proceed?
