System and Network configuration • [Solved] QEMU/KVM network not starting

Hi,

I'm not sure to understand your configuration, but I can tell you that in my case, changing the port wouldn't have been a solution. This is what I was told:
your configuration is buggy because libvirt is starting an dnsmasq instance that is listening on no interface, which serves no purpose. Telling dnsmasq to listen to a different port will not help, because it will still not be used.
But, if I understand your configuration, you don't really need dnsmasq-base at all. Have you tried to add:

<dns enable="no"/> 
to your XML network file?
