For me, computer speed is as fast as I can type. Thus, I still use an old computer as my daily driver, which started out as an Asus tower with Dual Core Intel Core i3-2100 . Over the years it has had several changes including hard drives. It now has a solid state Samsung model: SSD 860 EVO 500GB. I have gone back to hard wired USB keyboard and mouse; I got tired of changing batteries. The case is missing the left cover to aid in quiet ventilation. It uses Debian 10, Open Box with Tint2 transparent, Conky and a Wifi script in /etc/network/interfaces. It isn't pretty but it does what I want.
