We have a family computer on our television. We (parents) have one account which we are using. My kids have one using another account.

When my kids reached to an age where they can use computer, I started to look into DebianJr. My idea is not to build a separated system (like a Video game console).
My idea with Debian Junior Desktop is to provide a small Debian system for children and parents as well. They should be able to feel the spirit of "Free Software" and be able to learn Debian. Currently, it's like a prototype. I choose a set of applications where I think they should be fine. Debian Junior Desktop may grow along with my kids and feedback of users.![Wink ;-)]()
I will watch this thread and I'm happy about feedback.
I can fully understand this point of view. I'm a Nerd and my kids are very interested in what I'm doing. Maybe not what I'm doing, is more because of "Daddy likes it".as I don't think that young children should be exposed to digital technology at all.
