I have a Surface Pro 3 and have Debian Bookworm (12) installed on it but I did have to use the linux-surface kernel to get everything working as it should, I used the Gnome DE as I found it worked better for this device. I use it with the attachable keyboard with trackpad although the on screen keyboard works fine if used without it. I have also used a Bluetooth headset with it but that is the limit of my testing really.
