I was running a script in Wayland that was missing some env. variables and that xcb error mirrored my output:

I wouldn't NOT install it without doing further research, but I did a search on my history and I believe I installed libxcb-xinerama0 to assist w/ the issue.
I would start doing searches of the bolded portions above, as well as cross-referencing your symptoms and/or the package I suggested to see if it ties into a potential resolution.
