Sorry, to pull that up after this long, but has there been a solution?
I am using Debian on my server for a long time. I have upgraded to bookworm a while ago and it continued to work. But now I needed to reboot after a power outage. There is an APU so the shut-down was a controlled one with no data-loss.
Now I have exactly the same problem as mentioned above:
FW in FAULT state, Fault code:0x10000 subcode:0x0 func:megasas_transition_to_ready
I tried to follow the hints with GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="iommu=soft" but due to the age of the mainboard, there is no option to set UEFI...
Is the real only way to get back to my data on the SAS storage to buy a new mainboard or is there an update or any other solution available in the meantime?
