Beginners Questions • [Installation] Bootable USB Not Appearing in BIOS Boot Configuration

Hello,
Greetings. Disenchanted Windows 11 user here seeking to try Debian 12 on my laptop using a bootable USB. I used balenaEtcher to flash the installer onto a 16GB USB, then got the graphical install going, and proceeded through all of that until the installation was successful on my 64GB USB 2.0 flash drive. Though now that this is complete, when restarting my laptop and entering the BIOS, I don't see this flash drive as an option for booting. I scoured forums for a bit for answers though I haven't had any luck, and I figure at this point it might be better to ask directly. I've disabled Safe Boot and that hasn't done anything. I know that the USB is recognizable by my device, since it shows up in the Windows File Explorer and the Disk Management window without any issues. I'm almost positive it is, in fact, a bootable USB as I used balenaEtcher. And during the install process, my computer was able to recognize the 16GB USB just fine, so I am puzzled as to why I am only seeing the Windows and UEFI boot managers now while I have the 64GB flash drive connected.

I am using a Dell XPS 15 9500 laptop. Most of this stuff is completely arcane to me, so I would appreciate help in layman's terms...
What if do you bring up the one-time boot menu by pressing F12 key during the Power-on Self Test (POST), when the Dell logo appears (as per Dell instructions) ?
