Is there a way to increase the size of /run/user or /run to say 2 GB or 3GB?
Install more RAM. It's a default that I'd prefer not modify, so I've never ask. It is calibrated to installed ram size with some minimum setting. If lots, ~10% of installed.

Code:

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on...tmpfs 26409080 1004 26408076 1% /run/user/1000---example 2tmpfs 6601224 932 6600292 1% /run/user/1000---example 3tmpfs 813152 32 813120 1% /run/user/1001
If by default it is not sized for your use I would utilize a different method specific to purpose.
