Well live made no difference at all. Same thing, boots to black screen, If anything it might have started shutting itself off after some delay while sitting at the black.
I did grab some more information that might help. I grabbed the most recent xorg log. pastebin and I didn't get along well so here are some snippets that seem important to me.
So in this section: RADEON: Driver for ATI/AMD Radeon chipsets: it does NOT seem to list 6470 0r 6400 series. Nor Southern Islands. Does reference CaiosAnd then a big timestamp jump and this - which I see things "removed" but nothing I can see that is actually a crash
