General Questions • 7z compressed and encrypted files, how secure they are?

The 7z format is supposed to be AES-256 is what I meant.

Rationale: Nemo uses file-roller and file-roller uses p7zip to compress 7z format files and p7zip uses AES-256 encryption.

You could always make a compressed file and and try to check the metadata of said file.

(I don't use Cinnamon or Nemo, otherwise I would check this out myself.)
