Hi. The option was Erp. After enabling it the card stays always on no matter what…and started charging my MacBook as well…go figure…
Hello,Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you got it sorted out. Thanks Aki! Somehow, after another hot reboot, the interface is now stable. At least for now, dont´t want to get to optimistic just yet... the only thing that changed was me enabling one very secondary function in the BIOS that is related to the management of energy in the thunderbolt cable port, which I can't be sure is really responsible for it, but I´m not complaining. As for upgrading the kernel, I suppose I have to wait the guys from OVM to do it, I'm reasonably sure the system would break if I try it...I´ll ask them anyways...
Thanks!

It would be useful to know which secondary function enabled in the BIOS contributed to the solution: it might be helpful for other forum readers and Debian users.
Just a last little remainder: please, mark the discussion as "solved" by manually adding the text tag "[Solved]" to the beginning of the subject of the first post (after any other tags).
Happy Debian !
