General Questions • [Solved] update-grub didn't help

Hello,
[..] I entered the bios gui where started playing with buttons in the Advanced Mode page and (I'm not quite sure but seems after changing EZ view to Advance view) there popped up one more button "order of bbc booting" or something that disclosed my internal hard drives and presented the opportunity to choose the boot order. So the issue was solved in not exactly debian-like style but it was solved! Plus now I have that useful boot-info-script installed on kind advice of Sir sunrat.
I'm glad you sorted it out.

So it was the boot disk order.

Please make the subject of the first post more understandable to other users with the same problem, e.g:
[Solved] Cannot start Debian boot disk (update-grub didn't help)

note: by the way, please use code tags for include program outputs or logs; I updated your previous message for you.
