General Debian • I just found in my system settings a new option: Online Accounts (Debian 11 Cinnamon)

Would it be fair to say that these accounts are not installed/configured but are available to use if so required/desired? And if that assumption is correct what exactly would be the problem with it? That is to say if a user wants to connect this way why would it be wrong to make it available?
Those logos, even harmless are an unfortunate find in my system settings, I ended up in Debian because I was running away from them and I'd like Debian to stay out of the commercial realm even to details

It strikes me that this forum is regularly abused to discredit the Cinnamon desktop... sad.

I have been using it for years with complete satisfaction ... ( since I have been using Linux for more than a decade now ) .

Do you have problems with it ? Then use another destop environment, there are more than enough available .

Mic drop .
I'm a Cinnamon user and I won't change because of some stupid logos, I will fight to make Cinnamon clean as it was when I first installed it 3 years ago
