Beginners Questions • Unexpected HTOP results – RAM usage increases more running termit than konsole

Interesting idea. The ps RSS appears to correspond to HTOP res. Termit RSS is 53912 vs the konsole RSS of 147176, so roughly the same yet Termit consumes more system RAM. I must say copying ps output is much simpler than trying to copy HTOP text moving about.

BTW, do you know a command to get the HTOP mem field [consumed RAM]/[total RAM]?

EDIT: I found free but it reports 963MB used vs a current 698MB used from HTOP. I'm guessing Mi is megabyte.

$ free -ght
total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 3.8Gi 963Mi 2.6Gi 53Mi 511Mi 2.9Gi
Swap: 974Mi 0B 974Mi
Total: 4.8Gi 963Mi 3.6Gi

Thanks :D
