System and Network configuration • systemctl networking service?

Hello,
@Aki : Not really sure yet. None1975 did not answer the question [..].
In my humble opinion, @None1975's answer was very focused on the topic and explained what the software launched by network.service is and what is does. You probably didn't understand it.
I want to know by disabling it, if it's going to break my system. And if there is any NEGATIVE outcomes in doing so.
These are packages providing networking.service:

Code:

$ apt-file search networking.serviceifupdown: /lib/systemd/system/networking.serviceifupdown-ng: /lib/systemd/system/networking.serviceifupdown2: /lib/systemd/system/networking.service
If the network configuration of your Debian installation relies on the packages listed above, you will loose network connectivity by disabling "networking.service". You can check what these packages do by searching https://packages.debian.org

By the way, networking.service's contribution to boot time is usually minimal.

Hope this help. Please let me know.

note: please, modify the subject of the first post to make it understandable to other Debian users / forum readers; e.g.
Will disabling networking.service break my Debian installation?
