Yes, I can confirm that:

After the latest security update of:

Code:

libglib2.0-bin:amd64 (2.74.6-2, 2.74.6-2+deb12u1), libglib2.0-data:amd64 (2.74.6-2, 2.74.6-2+deb12u1), gnome-shell:amd64 (43.9-0+deb12u1, 43.9-0+deb12u2), gnome-shell-common:amd64 (43.9-0+deb12u1, 43.9-0+deb12u2), libglib2.0-0:amd64 (2.74.6-2, 2.74.6-2+deb12u1), libglib2.0-0:i386 (2.74.6-2, 2.74.6-2+deb12u1), gnome-shell-extension-prefs:amd64 (43.9-0+deb12u1, 43.9-0+deb12u2)
Dead keys stopped working, for example, I have configured two alternate keyboard layouts (gnome) in addition to the default one (English (US)):

English (US, intl., with dead keys), and Spanish, as I have two keyboards (ANSI US, and ISO Spanish).

After the updates for libglib2.0, I can't type accent letters as ó, é, í, ö, etc. with any of my two keyboards and the proper selected layout according to the connected keyboard.

To type any of those accented letters, you have to type first the key with the accent character and the the "base" letter.

Reverting the update for libglib2.0-bin, libglib2.0-data, libglib2.0-0 from 2.74.6-2+deb12u1 to 2.74.6-2 fixes the problem.

I'm not an expert, but I think it has to do to with glib and GDBus interaction in the updated packages, for what I read in the security announcement:

https://lists.debian.org/debian-securit ... 00091.html

Meanwhile I left the downgraded packages in "hold".
